Nest | Orana

Three large-scale circular “Nest” sculptures represent the Orana by Balcon logo and welcome the local residents and visitors day and night at the entrance of a new community in Melbourne’s South East.  The three sculptures are based on the circular and entwined rings of the original Social Collider Theory sculpture by Lump Sculpture Studio. The entwined rings of each sculpture increase proportionately to meet three different sizes, 1000mm diameter, 2000mm and 3000mm diameter. Each ring is individually rolled and positioned to create the entwined feeling of a nest, and each piece is finished with a durable bronze powder coat. The sculptures are installed on a separate concrete footings with incorporated lighting in each.
