Yes, Lump Sculpture Studio has a showroom at 235 Johnston St Abbotsford Victoria open Tuesday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
Just as each and every one of our clients is unique, so are most of our designs and products. At Lump Sculpture Studio we make an enormous variety of pieces and everything we create is made to order. You cannot purchase pieces from Lump “off the shelf”. And so, a regular pricing catalogue simply does not fit Lumps mould.
Please contact email@example.com with your questions and our friendly Lump Crew will be happy to provide you with an individual quote. Remember, the more information you can provide us about your project, the more information we can provide you and the more tailored your quote will be.
We know that not everyone is confident they can get the measurements right. If you do not have a handy person or any trades / landscapers on site that can help and you need our expertise, we will send a Lump designer to your home / site for a consultation and measure up.
Each on site consultation and measure up with a Lump designer incurs a cost of $176 inc GST (Melbourne Metro only). Destinations outside Melbourne Metro incur additional costs.
Call Lump on 03 9489 4766 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your site and what is involved in your project.
The cost for delivery is dependent on the size of your chosen Lump pieces and where they are going. We schedule deliveries weekly to Melbourne Metro destinations, interstate and internationally as well. Most of our pieces will arrive on a pallet sized 1200 wide x 2400 long x 150mm high or possibly larger for bigger scale works.
It is important for us to know as much about the delivery destination as possible. We encourage you to let us know if there are any special circumstances or instructions that will either obstruct or assist in a smooth delivery. Some questions we may ask you in relation to your delivery circumstances are: Will you be available to receive the delivery on a particular date? Are there any limitations with access to the delivery site? Do you have access to lifting equipment or trades people to assist on site? Do you require the driver to assist with unloading?
All of the pieces we make at Lump are a little large and unusual in comparison to your regular package so we use a specifically selected and trusted external courier company to safely complete all Lump Melbourne Metro and interstate deliveries.
We understand you may want to organise delivery your self but please note Lump Sculpture Studio will not be liable for any goods damaged as a result of poor delivery practices. (handling fees apply)
Basic delivery costs for Melbourne Metro deliveries begin at $88 inc GST. And $250 inc GST for Interstate deliveries.
When your item is ready to be assigned to freight, we will contact you and organise a convenient date for delivery. The freight company will have multiple deliveries that day; we appreciate your understanding if we are not able to provide you with an exact delivery time. However, we will do all we can to minimise the time you spend waiting to receive the delivery. Please ensure you have a representative on site to accept delivery and to help unload. Under no circumstances will items be left at an address unattended. If lifting equipment is required to aid in receiving your delivery please make sure this is organised be forehand.
Lump will export CIF (Cost, insurance and freight) only to your closest port.
We advise all of our clients to inspect each piece on receipt of the delivery. Please only sign the paperwork from the transport company once you are 100 % sure that your items are all in perfect condition. Signing the paper work on receipt of your delivery before inspecting the pieces voids the insurance.
The Lump crew will happily install your project on site for you. Installation costs begin at $176 inc GST per hour with a minimum of four hours ($704 including GST in total). This is calculated from when we leave the Studio and upon our return. If an installation exceeds 4 hours an hourly rate applies.
All installation charges are invoiced on completion so as not to over or under charge. Please make sure we are supplied with the name and phone number of the site contact / manager and detailed plans of where the piece is to be installed. The more information we have prior to installation, the smoother the process will be. Photos are great, as are drawings and detailed information about any site access issues or restrictions.
Lump requires a 50% deposit to begin the fabrication of your project. During a regular season we experience a turnaround time of 4 to 6 weeks.
Each job is different. And yes, Lump will supply fixings as required. As you can imagine we will need to consult with you in detail about exactly what materials you Lump piece will be fixed to.
Lump screens are not freestanding and require support. Consult with our Lump designers about custom designed and made frames, posts and structures.
At Lump we specialise in original custom designed and fabricated art works and we love nothing more than to develop something new. Email us at email@example.com and discuss with us your ideas, inspiration and sketches.
Please note there is a custom design fee of $330 inc. GST. (If you already have your own design available in PDF or a vector format we may waive this fee)
Is your workspace too small? Are you struggling to meet the equipment capabilities? At Lump we can fabricate your large commissions. Call or email the Lump Studio to discuss your ideas.

Powder coating is a fabulous way to customise a Lump sculpture, screen or light feature. Lump uses only the best quality Dulux powders that are UV stable and guaranteed to last if applied by a registered applicator. Pick up a colour that is already in your home or garden or provide a real splash of colour for contrast.
Lump’s Faux finishes:
Lump’s faux finishes are developed here in our Melbourne Studio. Our Lump Faux finishes are stable and will not leach a stain or produce a dust. And best of all the Lump Faux finishes will retain the integrity of the metal beneath.
Please see ‘Finishes’ for all the different paint finishes we currently have available.
Lump sculpture studio also has the capability to produce customised finishes for your project. Get in contact with us at email@example.com and our paint master may be able to replicate or mix new colours for your project.
Natural rust finish:
The natural rusted finish is REAL rust and will leach a stain when it becomes wet. The rusted finish will continue to grow and develop in colour this may result in lighter or darker patterns in the rust depending on the weather it receives. Please consider this when thinking about your application especially if you are planning on having a Lump piece on or near pale coloured walls or tiles. You can read more about Corten steel here: https://cortensculpture.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/dont-be-fooled-rust-never-sleeps.html
Polished Stainless steel:
Stainless steel has a high resistance to corrosion and is a popular choice for pool areas. At Lump we polish the Stainless steel to a variety of decorative grades, chat to us to obtain a sample.
You are more than welcome to request a sample detailing any of Lumps finishes. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your postal address and specify the finish you are interested in.

Please make sure that your Lump piece is clear of pooling water, debris, leaves, bird droppings, spider webs etc.
During your cleaning schedule, use a blow vac, high-pressure hose or a dust brush to clear debris. Please be mindful when brushing the sculpture down that you do not scratch the surface with cleaning tools.
If using a high-pressure hose, please ensure you stay at least 3 feet away from the sculpture.
Periodically, check weld points are intact to ensure the pieces structural integrity. It is important to contact Lump Sculpture Studio immediately if you notice any problems.
If the piece is vandalised with graffiti, please do not use any cleaning products on Corten steel, as this will alter the colouring. Please contact Lump Sculpture Studio directly and we will advise.
In situations where “run off” marks occur, and or air borne dust and dirt accumulate, simply wash with warm soapy water using a car wash brush or similar.
