Gateway | Wyee

Gateway acts as a viewing portal for visitors and new prospective homeowners, bringing the community together and drawing focus on the natural beauty of the area. The sculpture stands a commanding five meters tall and is constructed from Corten Steel with a natural rusted finish.  The form is organic in nature with an open centre, inviting onlookers to view the piece from the vantage points provided by the adjacent public walkways. The open centre of the sculpture encourages visitors to use the frame like a looking glass, to focus solely on the tranquil bushland, and draw your attention to it’s natural earthy tones, and the quiet surrounds of the Wyee area.
