Box Hill Institute Campus Modernisation

The faceted Custodians were designed as part of the Box Hill Institute Campus Modernisation project. Although designed as site specific works, they are derived directly from the Lump Studio collection of Faceted Sculptures. Each Custodian stands open and tall as if greeting the visitors to the Box Hill Institute. They present with a high open arch, inviting visitors into their space. They are embracing and they appear to lean slightly downwards toward the visitor with their shield like faceted sides.  They are the protectors and keepers of the creative hub with in the institute.
