Turtle Shell Climbing Frame

The Turtle Shell was selected to feature in the Katherine Hot Springs playground landscape designed by Urban Place Design .

Taking its original form from the Lump Leaf Skeleton Dome, the Turtle Shell has an original pattern laser cut into the shell, three door way openings and a bright yellow industrial finish.  From the shell extends a custom made Turtle head, legs and tail completed and installed by NT Sports and Playground Surfacing.

The landscape was commissioned by the Katherine Town Council and was delivered by Ashford Architects.

Lump Sculpture Studio design and develop sculptural play equipment and art works for indoor and outdoor play spaces. Every play sculpture made at Lump Studio is fabricated and engineered for the playground as a site specific work.
