OVERVIEW
At Lump we are the industry leaders in designer laser cut and hand cut metal screens. Outdoor screens have become popular additions to fences or rendered walls and can be used in lieu of them for privacy and security.

Many of our clients are now also using Lump screens indoors as room dividers, recessed into cut-outs, as in-fills for doors and ballustrading or as a lovely focal point in place of a framed artwork.

Our designs have all been created in house from hand drawn original designs. The Lump range includes both geometric and botanical motifs that have been created to tie in with a range of exterior and interior themes, colours and designs.

Materials we have available are Corten Steel, Aluminium, Polyurethane, Brass and Copper.  Standard screen sizes are 1200mm x 2400mm with the option of larger screen sizes being 1500 x 3600 and thickness options of 1.6, 3mm, 6mm or copper as .9mm only.

 

Technical
Standard size: H 2400 x W 1200 x D 1.6mm or 3mm.  Obtainable in both Aluminium and Corten Steel   (Note these can be made to hang both horizontally or vertically)

As no two homes are the same, you may require a custom size. Of course you may want to span an area larger than this then multiple smaller panels will be the way to go.

Due to the demand of unusual sizes we can now accomodate the following sizes in Aluminium only, 6100 x 1525 x 3mm, 6100 x 1830 x 4mm, 6100 x 1525 x 5mm, 6100 x 1830 x 6mm and 6100 x 1980 x 6mm.

 

Materials and Finishes
Choose from Corten, aluminium, plexiglass, copper, brass or stainless steel.

What is Corten?
As you will be able to see from our website, Corten has a rusty finish. Corten is a structural material that was originally designed to be used in shipping containers. The rust creates a protective barrier so the material underneath will not deteriorate over time. There is a big difference between mild steel and Corten. The natural rusted finish on Corten is REAL rust and will leach a stain if exposed to the elements. Please consider this especially if you  had planned on having a Lump piece on or near pale coloured walls or tiles.

Lump's 'faux rust' finish
Lump's Faux Rust Finish is weatherproof and will never leach a stain. The faux rust effect is created using specifically selected paints that mimic the look of real rust.

Lump's raw steel effect
Similar to the Faux Rust effect, our raw steel effect is weatherproof and blends various colours to mimic the look and feel of raw steel.

Powder coated finish
Powder coating is a fabulous way to customise a Lump screen. We use only the best quality Dulux powders that are UV stable and guaranteed to last. You may wish to pick up a colour that is already in your home or garden or provide a real splash of colour for contrast.

 

Lead Times
Our usual lead time is four weeks from the time an order is placed. We hope you understand why it takes a little while.
